Domestic abuse can happen to anyone. It’s described as any incident or pattern of incidents of: controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour violence or abuse. This is between people aged 16 or over who have been intimate partners or family members - regardless of gender or sexuality.
Abuse can include, but is not limited to these types of abuse:
