Getting started on Twitch
Create a Twitch account if you don’t already have one, then set up your channel using a quick start guide. Once you’re ready, you can stream anytime and fundraise as you go.
How to fundraise on Twitch
- Use a platform like Tiltify to link donations to your stream and support Changing Lives.
- Set a realistic fundraising goal to start, and increase it as you go.
- Add milestones or incentives (e.g. “for every £50 raised, I’ll…”) to keep viewers engaged. Get creative – streaming is a very interactive form of fundraising
- Promote your stream in advance on social media and with your community.
- Use stream extensions to show your cause, goals, and donation options clearly.
